37" S IPS panel 544$

I'm guessing the "detonator.dynamitedata" is screwing links up for me again. I wish AT would get rid of it already.

Seems to be a decent price for the TV. Still $25 cheaper than Amazon once you factor in the $30 shipping from Newegg.

Read some of the 57 Newegg reviews.

Reviewers in general all seem to agree that it's a good HDTV, and gave it a 5 egg rating.

However, some of these same reviewers also said this for CONS:

- black level is subpar
- HDMI connection might be laggy
- colors looked washed out if you're not at the optimum angle (dead center?)
- text is hard to read in 1080p mode

Based on this, I would stay away from this TV if you plan to use it as a PC monitor. Great for TV though

Cnet thinks it's "OK".

I'd go with this Samsung for ~same price:

Or this for a little more:

Or the LN37B650; more expensive but I saw it side by side to the 550 at Best Buy and it appeared to have vastly superior off angle viewing.

Though those are '09 models, new 2010 models may be around the corner.
