37 MPG last fill up, 38.5 MPG this time!

I can see the winter blend is long gone now, and just in time for high gas prices.
370 miles on one tank and I had 3 more gallons to go (13 gallon tank).

Back in the winter time, there were times where I got 290 miles/29 mpg.
That's almost a difference on 10 mpg :Q

The funny thing is just as I was done filling up and pulling out of the gas station, they were ready to change the price.
I didn't stay to see how much it was going up, but across the street it was already up to $1.85. I paid $1.73.

38.5 MPG on today's fillup :thumbsup:

They only time I paid attention to my mileage I got 30mpg. Assuming I drove that car until the tank was empty, I could get over 500 miles out of it. I think that's pretty good.

I've never heard of even a hybrid getting that high. That's astonishing if it's accurate.

Both maximas now on premium are getting around 23-25 with city/highway combined driving. I know that at least the 00 which is rated at 21/27 will do at least 28 on pure highway at 80 mph. That thing kicks my ass. And yours!

Get a 90's Civic hatch or CRX if you want good gas mileage. I don't see what the hubub is about hybrid cars. The last year CRX got 50 on the highway.

Well, first.. you need to compare the size of the CRX to a hybrid.

Second, it would be wise to consider power/acceleration.

Well, in my 90 Civic I have plenty of speed for hills and whatnot. On trips outside the Bay Area I haven't yet met a hill that my car couldn't handle, as long as I hit it at 75/80 MPH.

And with my rear seat down there is plenty of cargo space, although I treat it like a two seater.
