360 to Tivo. I've got a TV in the garage with no cable hookup

I've got a number of shows on my 360 that I'd like to transfer to the DVR. Anybody do this?

Aside from having a hacked 360, I don't think there's any way to get information off the 360 to anything other than their first party devices (ie memory cards). How'd you get the shows onto the 360 in the first place?

I assume he bought some tv shows from the market place?

Does your tivo have video-in? You can go video out from 360 to video in and record. Or get a PC capture card, and do it that way I'd guess.

I've personally never bought any tv shows through the marketplace. I didn't know you could 'buy' them... I just thought it was a rental, but that may just be for movies. In any case, I wouldn't doubt that these shows can just be re-downloaded if they were purchased. Everything that you buy through the marketplace can be removed from your hard drive and downloaded again at a later date.

Good idea though about the line in. I don't see why that wouldn't work unless its done through HDMI, in which case there may be copy protection attached to it.

Yep. TV Shows you can buy and re-download as often as you like.

Movies are rentals.
