It's undrivable and even difficult to navigate menus or changes settings. I've powered down the wheel, removed batteries/power cord and reset 360. Did this a few times.

Any thoughts? It's only 3 weeks old and lost the receipt. I'm going to call xbox support in the meantime just didn't know if anybody "heard/read" about such a symptom.

When attempting to race I could see my wheels oscillate back and forth at full throw and wasn't even touching the steering wheel.

-edit-
best buy replaced it, took 5 minutes tops.

Hmmm its exhibiting the same symptoms an uncalibrated controller would show on a PC. Is there a way to calibrate it on the last blade on the 360 perhaps?

nah, I think it's just broken. The input just is so far off, it really is undrivable/impossible - imagine 1 degree of input to the left = full left, 1 degree of input on right = full right. xbox support wasn't much help - "try a different game" was my only course of action. Let's see how fun it is to return something to bestbuy without a receipt.

but, hey. At least I have an excuse for not racing well this wednesday. It's always the equipment, never the driver.

If you bought it with a CC then its no problem. They can look it up with that.

Also if you used your rewardzone card then log into your account and look at your purchases/points history you should be able to get "copy" of the purchase from there which should have a receipt # or something on it.

If you didn't get it from BB at all and are just trying to get it swapped there then disregard everything I said LOL.

Thanks GCS, I bought it with BB gift cards and some from my visa atm/check card, it was registered AFAIK on my rewards card because of verification of purchaser information.

I'm somewhat insulted that you would think I would lie, but no matter. I have yet another excuse for poor driving. ;)

Never!!! That was just a disclaimer/public service announcement sir, nothing more.

Besides if we broke your wheel and blindfolded you I bet you would still drive better than me

Hope you get it squared away before Wed.

I don't know if you have the wireless wheel or wired one? I'm playing Forza right now with the wired wheel and every now and then the menus freak out and the brakes lock up on the cars (can't shut down the brakes). Turned out the cable for the foot pedals was loose and I just had to tighten the connection by screwing in the wire a little tighter?????????

Good luck!

Well best buy replaced it, they had my receipt via rewards zone. Easy peasy and got a 2 year replacement warranty for 12 bucks just in case. In and out in 5 minutes.
