360 outsells PS3 last week

🙂 nice title.

That leaves the 360 still at about 1/3 the units in Japan as the PS3, but it's more impressive than the PS3 winning in Italy and Spain.

Ya 360 will never catch up in Japan. I just thought it interesting that Ace Combat could sell that many systems.

I kind of wonder if it's worth it for MS to spend the millions it does advertising in Japan to sell a measly 5K consoles a month in Japan. I kind of wonder if they should even penetrate that market with the next XBox.

I saw on a chart posted on Kotaku that the 360 has either equaled or just about equaled the original Xbox's total sales numbers in 2-3 fewer years. It is a slow climb, and they obviously won't win this generation, but MS is making progress. Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery may help matters a bit.

The two games you just listed pretty much convinced me to get a 360. Well, Halo 3 and Eternal Sonata helped too. I guess MS is slowly crawling its way into the Japanese market.....
