360 + macbook + router = Xbox live?

I have a regular cat 6 patch cable and I want to connect my xbox 360 to my macbook so I can play xbox live.
any idea how I can do that?
( i dont get my 50ft cat 6 cable for a week)

So i did bridge it once in XP but now when i go i can't connect to my wireless network

So are you saying that you have a router (wireless I'm assuming) and you want to use it to connect to your macbook and then use the ethernet of the macbook to provide wireless to your xbox? If so you should be able to bridge the connection. (Check internet sharing in control panel)

Wow that worked awesome i just had to boot into windows (i was lazy and didnt want to look up how to do it in OS X)

I was able to complete the whole Xbox Live setup then I went to bed and now I can't connect to my wireless network

(Windows Xp)
