360 gonna be hard to get this holidays?

I am waiting till around the first week of Dec to get a 360 so I can be guaranteed(or almost) a Falcon. I don't want to get one now because all the hunting for lot numbers and checking to make sure once I get it home. Then if its not I'd have to take it back and make up some excuse about why I don't want it. Anyway do you all think 360 is gonna be hard to find are Xmas this year or will MS likely supply more then enough?

But I'd like to see the look on their faces when they ask why I'm returning it and I say because its not a Falcon 😀.

I think you'll be alright. They'll definitely be a hot ticket, with the lower prices, great exclusives, and the 2-game bundle, but I can't imagine you'd have trouble finding any. You may have to go to a couple different stores, though.

Have the prices already gone down for the 360? Or is that in the coming month/months?

They dropped on August 8th. That will be the only price drop on the 360 this year.

Yeah with them offering the bundle its not gonna happen. I would guess sometime around when the new Jasper(65nm GPU rev) comes out or next holiday season before we see another drop. But as Sony drops the prices on their system MS might have to be forced to do so aswell.

The Wii and perhaps the Nintendo DS will be hard to get, but I can't see the 360 being in short supply. It's two years old and the Halo 3 rush is over.

Actually it could be in short supply. Last weekend I had to go to 3 different stores looking for a 360 Pro system. The 360 will probably pick up a lot of sales that would have gone to the Wii if they would have been on shelves though.

I can see the 360 selling a lot, but I don't think it will be unattainable.
