360 gamepad turns itself off randomly?

I use 360 gamepads for my PC, and one I just bought turns itself off randomly.. is it the batteries (which should be new) or is this a known issue with some of the gamepads?

It's most likely the batteries. Did you put in new batteries yourself? It sounds like you're not quite sure . . ..

I think it came with the batteries. I switched out the batteries from the other gamepad and it still does it.

Had one that did this myself. Return/exchange it.
