360 and Jasper performance

No. Cosnoles don't change CPU speed or GPU speed/cores within a generation, the die shrinks are to reduce cost.

Cutting power use is just a bonus. Fixing RRoD is easier with a smaller, cooler core but that could have bern accomplished with a new cooling system instead. That would increase cost though. With the die shrink the GPU cost goes down and the existing cooling system works better.

An example: The PS2 Slim is spiffy, but Sony made it (and keeps refining it) to save themselves money reducing manufacturing, warehousing and shipping costs.
