I was searching around for round IDE cables, and these guys seemed to be pretty cheap
IDE ultra ATA 133 round dual 36" (white) - $5
IDE ultra ATA 133 round dual 36" (various other colors) - $7
IDE ultra ATA 133 round dual 24" (various colors) - $5
IDE ultra ATA 133 dual 24" - $3
Floppy drive cable 24" round (various colors) - $3

Just be aware that a 36" cable is 2x the ATA spec. You can and will run into problems with data coruption, expecialy with a round vs. flat cable.

While I don't think that round vs flat will make any negative difference(especially if it is twisted pairs, which is what gives cat5 its interference-resistance), but adding length DEFINITELY decreases stability, data security, and performance. ATA is only rated to around 18", and this was decided back when we were still at 33MB/s or lower.

Try Silicon Valley Compucycle for cables and such. Great people to do biz with and one of thier own is here at anand. I have bought from them over the last year and have always received my order intact and everything there. I just bought some round cables and a new case last week. Go see em...
