36º (c) on 2.4Ghz Conroe Core Duo 2 with tHermalright Ultra-120?

I just installed my system, and havent done any overclocking yet. However my temp is at 36 Idle. Is this normal?

I think that's pretty normal. If you OC, you should expect 40-50 at idle.

It all depends on your room temperature, case, case fans, CPU heatsink, CPU heatsink fan, and other components.

With the system specs in my sig and a room temperature of 18C, I get 34C idle.

I have a X6800 with water cooling i idle at 34 and under full load is about 44 or so

Also, what is more accurate, the Bios temp readings (for idle only obviously) or software monitering? What program should I be using to moniter my temps?

I hate motherboard temp diodes - they're off by anywhere from 1°-20°C in my experience. Hell, according to my motherboard right now, my A64 @ 2.4GHz is at 30°C in a 24°C room at full load. That's gotta be off by at least 10°C.
