35ms LCD monitor + gaming

It's a cheap Dell 15inc (E151FP) LCD monitor (free monitor upgrade with purchase of a computer).. and I see zero ghosting while playing Counter Strike. The response time is 35ms.. is this due to the monitor being so small? I know people complain about ghosting on the 19inc Dell 1905FP that has a 20ms respone time. If I see no ghosting on this monitor with a 35ms response time.. is it likely I won't notice any with my new monitor? (Hasn't arrived yet)

Ghosting is a weird thing. Response time alone does not dictate whether a game ghosts or not. It is also dependent on contrast ratio as well as the sheer quality of the LCD panel. If you can't see any ghosting, then that's great!

usually smaller panels have the faster times, but it cant be based on response time alone.....a good quality panel will usually serve you well no matter what

This is true, I can't see any ghosting on a older but high quality 25ms Sony panel I have (15") but can see alot on a 20ms cheap panel one of my friends bought (also 15").

I also have a 25ms 17" Viewsonic and I see no ghosting at all when playing any games or doing anything. Maybe it's just the quality of my monitor but I don't know what all the fuss is about lower speeds.
