35mm SLR: Is the Nikon N75 any good?

I like to think of myself as something of an amateur photographer and I'm frustrated by digital photography. I've decided I'm going to sell my A40 and gear, and buy a new entry-level SLR. I'm looking at Nikon's N75. Any reason not to?

I agree with Anubis. If there is any way you can delay the purchase to make up the difference in price I would really recommend that you do so.

yea he likes it, the N80 just has a few better features that you might come to like, the N75 is a fine camera and if thats all you can afford then go with it

you shoudl look at what canon offers in the same price range to see what is compirable, unless you are set on nikon
