3570K Pin Pad.. Damage?

Intel does not warrant that the Product will be free from design defects or errors known as “errata.” Current characterized errata are available upon request. Further, this Limited Warranty does NOT cover:

damage to the Product due to external causes, including accident, problems with electrical power, abnormal electrical, mechanical or environmental conditions, usage not in accordance with product instructions, misuse, neglect, alteration, repair, improper installation, or improper testing;

Along with that, the limited warranty is only provided to the original owner. The best thing to do would be to contact Intel, or have the other member contact, as they are the original owner.

🙁, I'd get my money back and have the seller get it replaced himself if you're not certain you can get the CPU replaced, you shouldnt have to deal with that.

Just keep in mind, your warranty has been voided from that damage. Working or not, I would contact the seller and get a replacement/refund.

Try to get a refund from the guy who sold it. If he doesn't comply, leave negative heatware, and talk to esquared. 🙁
