do you guys know if this car is equipped with twinturbos as its predecesor was? and also is the 287hp limited because of jap standards? or can the car actually do more horse power.

1) No Turbos. The old 300ZX needed twin turbos to make 300HP / 307 lb-ft from 3.0 liters. The new 350Z makes 287HP / 267 lb-ft from 3.5 liters normally aspirated
2) The horsepower is limited by the VQ itself...not Japanese standards as far as I can tell. The engine is a breathed on VQ that makes 240 HP in the Altima. I think that ~ 290 HP is about as much as you're gonna get without some major modifications

Depends on if it can take it. I know there have been several attempts to put a turbo on my engine, but all have ended in a short life (~1000 miles after turbo install).

Well they are doing a turbo version of the Z in like 2 years. It is gonna be like $34,000.

187: It's not a "zx" its a "Z" and not turbos, its got "real" horsepower.

I am not sure there will be a TT 350Z or it will be replaced by the GTR, or both. Either way should be good.
