Looking to spend about $14k

I gotta have the manual so auto 350z's are out.

This car will be my only car while in Texas.

Little things considering:
I need a car that has GREAT A/C and still puts a smile on my face after driving it for long distances.

So AT, what should I get?

I'd go with the Z. The S2k is a nice sports car but I assume the Z is a better tourer. In Texas that really is what you need.

Unless you're considering the 350Z Convertible, I'd say S2000.

An S2000 will only be fun if the roads you are driving on look like a slinky and you don't mind keeping the revs wound up.

A 350z can do a little of it all. Handles nicely, has pep, and might even catch the eye of a female or two.

And who knows, maybe a few years down the line you can sink an LS2 into it.

Those roads are few and far between in Texas.

Wouldn't necessarily agree with women noticing them, there are a ton in Dallas.

FTW

I love S2K's, and I'm not fond of 350Z really. Considered G35 Coupe? Approximately same weight, same motor, same bolt-ons for the most part. Looks better and the seats are more comfortable. Better stock audio as well. S2K is great, but I'm not sure I'd recommend one for DD duty.

I think it just depends on what's available. I'm going to get this car by Memorial Day.

I can find 350z's better than S2000's, but with the S2000 there is only one trim so really it comes down to year and color for me.

With the 350z I have to weed out the automatics and 4 different trims of cars... I'll just jump on the best deal of either. I did have a DD back in the day that was a Miata. I could barely live with it... the S2000 trunk is bigger.

I like Hondas but I prefer the sportier styling of the 350Z and especially 370Z. I was only able to afford a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe though. I'm only 22 and haven't had the chance to get an awesome-paying career yet. Heh.

If you are going impracticable you might as well go all the way and go s2000. The 350z is too big and fat for me but coming from a miata most things are.

A Z is 300-500 lbs lighter then a G35 coupe it does matter :O

If he's not turning it into a track car the luxuries that come with the G35 coupe are well worth the weight. Even just the feel. Now how much more $$$$ are we talking about?

A 350Z is a pig weighing more than 400 pounds than the S2000.

Depends on what you want, for zip and zoom, S2000 no question. For grand touring, a 350Z will be more practical.

S2000 is like the runway model, 350Z is like the porky MILF that you know is still a good lay.

What a choice...
A fat, comfortable convertable (350Z) or a real roadster.
Though, the 350Z should be easier to drive.

But in the end it's your choice, you have to live with the car.
