350Z convertible pictures on the road

I dunno, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think the SC430 is a handsome car, although it makes you look tiny when you sit in it. The Z convertible looks good and costs less. You can't lose! 😀

scenery looks very much like miami. is that where the pics were taken?

EDIT: nm, just saw that you are from jacksonville

:Q Who's B1tch is DAT!??

I'd take a Lexus SC400 '99+ with 6 speed manual 😀 anyday over the new SC430.. yuck :disgust:

Some better pics were posted a little while ago. I love how the badges are hidden, like that really does any good.

The rear does look like an SC430, except it doesn't have the funky character lines and weird "bulge" effect of that car. I think it looks a lot better overall than an SC430 myself.

Although if chicks mistake your car for something twice as expensive, that's not the worst thing in the world... 😛

Nice. Where are those pictures at? Looks like Palm Beach area or Lauderdale?
Considering the license plate looks like a California dealer's plate, and the home page connected with the site where the pics are from features some of the rugged terrain of Yosemite, I doubt it's Florida we're lookin' at. Most likely here in Southern Cali considering the terrain, vegetation and architecture of the home... hard to look past the car, though, that's for sure. 🙂

Man, does it look nice. But I won't be parting w/my E36 convertible anytime soon. Love its handling, looks, class, decent acceleration... and a usable backseat! I do have more than one friend that I enjoy taking along for a ride (comfortably) in this beautiful weather we're experiencing. If my social situation were a bit different, perhaps then the 350Z would be a most appealing possibility. 🙂

UGh, the SC430 is FUGLY!!!! And it's also a gutless wonder... it's a complete poseur "g'daym it's shiny" car... 😛
The 350Z convertible isn't a gutless wonder and it looks like a great alternative to other roadsters like an S2000, Z4, or Boxster.

The car works GREAT as a coupe, but falls flat on its face as a convertible.

100% agreed
I'd like to at least see it in person before making that declaration... I think the coupe looks better in person than in pics, and I'm hoping the rear of the roadster is the same way.

Agreed somewhat. I believe a look at the (unmolested?) front might do the car more justice here. The coupe definitely is the IT-mobile. The lines, aggressive stance, a car that just embodies the power, mystique and values of the Z---awesome! Again, if my social situation were a bit different (if I was head-over-heels in love and my friends became burdens of sorts heh), and if I wasn't hungering so much for a convertible when making my last car purchase, the stick coupe would probably be mine. 🙂

That said, I'm happy with my Bavarian machine, where I can row the gears to similar enjoyment with the top down at my leisure. 🙂
