I'm looking for a minimal PSU. Any thoughts on the quality and noise levels of the InWin IP-S BQ series versus the Corsair VS?

I got the Corsair for the 3 year warranty vs 2 for the InWin. When I installed it I realized the busted PSU it replaced IS an InWin IP-S BQ.

From a superficial look they're both not too noisy, at least with minimal loads. But if the InWin is indeed busted, quality is lacking (it's the most likely suspect, but I won't know for sure until I've had some time to see if the random issues that prompted the PSU replacement are actually solved with the new PSU).

One quick comment about the Corsair: the 12V EPS connector (extra mobo connector besides the 20/24-pin) is a bit annoying. It's two 4 pin connectors that came hooked together to a combined 8-pin connector, but can be separated to two 4-pin connectors. The problem is the tight rubber sleeve holding them together at the very end of the cable, in addition to the plastic net sleeve. You can separate the two connectors, but not their cables. I only need 4 pin, and without cutting the rubber sleeve the other connector gets in the way.
