i'm going to upgrade my P2 350mhz to a Celeron 366@550. I'm wondering if there will be a noticable performance increase. I mostly play games and want to know if this is a good dstep to go with. And i have 224mb of PC100 ram already so i guess the processor is my next step.

it would be a nice boost but buying a cpu that wil run at 550mhz is a waste right now get a new mobo/cpu or just get a celeron 566 and oc it to 850+

how about your video card? anyways upgrading to that is not very expensive but i'd go with celeron2 for about 40 dollars more. You will see more of a difference there.

Yeah go for a 566 or 633. They can be had for less then $100 and are great to OC. I have built two systems running 933 with a 566 and a friend built on with a 633 at 950 and should go higher.
