350$ pc gaming build HELP!

1.I am trying to build a PC will be mainly used in playing dota2 and league of legends
2. My price range would be 300$ - 350$

3. I am residing in the US

5. I dont have any brand preference since I am kinda tight with the budget.

6. I am planning to re-use my current cpu cooling fan, dvd drive and OS cd (win 7)

8. I dont really mind any resolution as long as it is playable

9. Planning to build it as soon as possible

Does this build work? does it have any compatibility issues? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/15qiz.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

You can actually fit a discrete graphics card in with that budget:

It'll get about twice the frames per second.

cpu,ram,mobo,dgpu $230.15

it is a good build but cpu perf will surely be lacking...although for $350 'tis a worthwhile compromise, but there is another...
apu: amd a10-5800k microcenter $119

ram: ripjaws ddr3-1866 newegg $62

mobo: msi fm2-a55m-e33 amazon $49

my changes are apu, ram, mobo $232.97

but now you have an adequate gaming setup to tide you over until you have more to buy a decent gpu, like a 7790 or a gtx650 ti/boost...dual cores just wont cut it...

but Sleepingforest's build will be better if you dont plan on upgrading.

LoL is primarily single threaded. It will load one core fully and then put a partial load on a 2nd core. The build listed on post #3 will fly. It is infact far beyond overkill. I bought a $85 core 2 E8300 PC off ebay and slapped in a $25 HD4650 low profile and it plays LoL just fine 1680x1050 all settings max except shadows turned down 1 notch.

If you can afford to spend $26 more, get an Athlon 750K. The basic cost for this system with an Athlon is $359, but you could save a little on the case or lower RAM to 4GB to get below $350...

Well in that case a A4-5300 could accomplish both jobs for $54.

The G2020 can be had for $50 pre-tax at Micro Center, but that is in-store only. It is $62 at Amazon. Just making sure this doesn't slip through the cracks.

I doubt the 74xxd series is more powerful than a 4650.
Why? Almost 4 generations old. Barely middle of the road then. I run HoN which is more intensive on a 6500D from a Llano with no problems. Looking it over it could go either way with the advantage being the 4650. But that is me picking out the CPU that was half the cost of both combined. Step up to a A8-6500 and you end up with less power usage a faster CPU than both and a GPU that spec wise is almost exactly the same but running DX11.

I am not suggesting that he buy a 4650, but rather just discussing its performance versus the 7480d.

I might have slightly underestimated the 7480d's power, but it is on par or slightly weaker than a 4650. So, depending on his tastes with regards to settings and monitor resolution, it is a worthy buy.

If, on the other hand, the fellow has any interest in gaming at 1080p in the future or want to turn up all the settings, then an A6 or better will be necessary, perhaps even a CPU+7750 if he wants 60+ fps at high on Dota2 and LoL.
