If your budget is under 400, then go with a damn LCD dood. No one in their right mind spends $400 on a CRT anymore.

Dude, Craigslist is your friend. Even if you have to drive a bit to get it, it'd still be cheaper. I paid 30 for my 19 inch and it's amazing.

or check ebay for something you can pick up locally...i got a 21" there for 40 bucks not too long ago...

Not too sure. Were you wanting a 19" LCD? Dell has a (number goes here) for like $250 I think.

I work for a company which does drafting and engineering for Verizon's FTTP project - all offices get 21" beauties, and I can't remember spending more than $250 per monitor. (Course, we get a quantity discount) You could also try used like others have said - CL usually has a few good deals.

You can get a very nice used 21" here for $199 shipped leaving enough for that LCD you were linking to...

Those refurb 21" AG's are really blurry if you have the brightness turned up one bit.
Still the best monitors for games and movies if you don't care much about text and graphics.
