When you were at your worst (asthma wise), would spicy food cause you to have an asthma attack? There haven't been any studies I've seen that have shown OC to cause serious asthma conditions. That doesn't mean it isn't dangerous (being sprayed and put in a constricting position can kill), and police are trained to spray and have you stay as spread out as possible. It is just a super spicy compound shot into your face. It sucks, but it isn't that bad. Tear gas is worse, but that clears you up really good afterwards.
everyone is different. i wouldnt' be surprised if something like that triggered some kind of asthmatic reaction on here. i've definitely had reactions to things like that randomly before. i can't remember spicy stuff specific though. but like i said, people are different.
