$34.95 Windows Vista Home Basic - Other versions priced accordingly

I'm tempted to get a Vista Home Premium key to replace the downstairs web-browsing computer's OEM XP Home (say what you like about UAC being annoying, but not being a tech-god, I'd rather have a few dozen UAC prompts instead of having to deal with the frustrations of trying to use a limited user account on XP Home), but I'd like to know if these guys are legit.

Right there with ya sister. I don't speak for everybody here, but personally when it comes to spiffy software deals, beware.

Wouldn't your cc protect in the event of a sour deal?
They have an ad on Google. 😀 😀 😀

Some CC companies only cover after the first $50.
Besides that, is it really worth the hassle to save a couple of bucks on a crap 32-bit OS that's outdated?

This appears to be bogus.
Absent a broad announcement from Microsoft of a price cut,
this site is a phony!
Again, if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.
By the way, Paypal is NOT a universal guarantor against all Web fraud.
Only for Ebay transactions labeled as having protection, as far as I know.
So quit blaming them because you bit for a scam....

There have been legit deals for Vista. Best so far $19.80 shipped one year ago when TechForLess was blowing out boxed retail Vista Basic Upgrade to make room for SP1 versions. Some of us have free Ultimate from MS promotions and surveys.

Apparently some people have had good luck. I wouldn't risk it myself. 🙂

doh!

That's an upgrade, not the full version so it will do you no good if you don't have Vista already.
