Looks like Newegg.com is selling Retail 1700+ Thor. for $65 shipped. I didn't know they were making 1700+ cpu's on the 333mhz bus.

The Link

CPU: 1.47 GHz
Type: 1700 XP
Cache: 256K
BUS: 333MHz

You bought the retail or oem? from Newegg? and the thoroughbred? Just wanting to make sure so I can kill this thread.

I bought a retail 1700+ from newegg for like $71 bucks or something very close to that price. Don't remember anything about it bieng a throurough bred or it being 333mhz fsb.

They are going to be switching over to Tbred cores for the 1700+ and up, and a few people on these forums have one, but I haven't heard of them being 333mhz FSB. Although if AMD wanted to, it would be a simple matter of setting the muliplier. I know for a fact the Athlon's FSB can handle it...I'm running a 210mhz (420mhz) FSB with my 2400+. 🙂
