Does DFI have one yet?

Am I limited to asus and abit?

I have a sound card I want to use as well as two of the 7950 video cards.

What are my motherboard choices? Any of you have this setup currently?

are you talking about amd or intel? i'm assuming amd right? since nvidia doesn't have too many intel solutions.

Abit, Asus, MSI & I believe ECS all have C51D boards.
I've got an AN8 32X but not the 2 7950s ... board's been great but 2 x7950s will be tight & generate a lot of heat.

I don't think two 7950s will work at all, on any motherboard. The official Nvidia drivers don't support quad SLI at this point.

Plenty of people are running it. But I cannot find people who say they have it on 32x boards. Some people are running them on 8x PCIe slots. But I don't want to be limited by the 8x slots and it isn't offically supported.

I don't really see a point for 32X slots, as even PCIe 16X isn't going to limit these cards.

8x each, while 32x gives 16x each... go back and checkout the performance between the two when the new boards came out... theres really little difference

There is a difference at high res. & high AA/aniso etc. even with single 7900s etc. in each slot - effectively put 2 cards into each slot & it stands to reason that the difference will quite possibly be larger.
If you are willing to fork out the cash for 2x 7950s (when nVidia sorts a quad SLI driver) you aren't going to be playing at 1024x768 on a 17" CRT ...
