is the geforce gts 64mb really worth the $60 extra than the 32mb geforce gts 32mb?
i just want a vid card that will last some time(ex 1-2 years)
doesnt have to be the best, as long as i can play games at 1024x786 in 32bit color and get over 60fps

IMHO, yes. 64 meg cards are noticeably smoother than their 32 meg counterparts. You can see the difference in games that are out now, and as the newer games arrive, it will be even more noticeable. A 64 meg card will have a longer life than a 32 meg version.

I agree, I went from a 32Mb GeForce DDR to a 64Mb Radeon. There is a difference. I like to run Quake III with all the eye candy. With the 32Mb card there would be a slight pause now and then on big texture intense levels. The 64Mb card never does it!!

64Mb Radeons can be had for around $180USD plus tax in many retail stores, IMO that is not outrageous.
