Newegg is selling this card refurbished for around $30. It's the M64 version but does have TV in and out - currently I am using a Nvidia Riva TNT2 Pro with 16MB - would this refurbished Guillemot TNT2 32MB card actually be WORSE because it is the detuned M64 version with a 64-bit memory bus instead of my current 128-bit card? I'm VERY interested in it because of the TV in/out and the fact that it would stop me from plopping down $150+ on a Radeon 64MB DDR but if it's going to make what I have worse (and it's not THAT good to begin with) then I would probably have to pass - help me please!

i would say go for the one with most feature such as TVout cuz it seems to me that you are not gonna get any good performance with both of the card for today's game. (but hey CS works fine ^_<)

Yes, I know, both cards do suck compared to what is out there today but that is NOT the point. The point is saving $120+ over the Radeon 64 DDR. That is the card I will grab if I do go ahead and get something from today's technology. The whole purpose of getting this would be to keep the same performance I have now but add in TV in/out - it would be a stopgap until prices lower a bit on the high end cards of today.

Well, whatever card I get has to have both TV in and TV out so I can run a cable to my VCR and then out to the cable box to watch TV through my computer. The only 2 cards I have found are the Radeon 64 MB DDR for $153 and the Asus V7700 32 MB GTS for $171. If you, or anyone, knows of another card lemme know. Thanks.

the 16MB TNT2 Pro should be a bit faster than the 32mb M64. But 30 dollars is a nice price for a vivo card.

Upon further review it looks like the card has S-video in and S-video out so it is not your "typical" vivo card - argh. Guess I'll have to pass and pony up the bucks for Radeon, etc.

It'll probably be worse than what you already have.

(Still) $30 is not a bad deal; but it's a refurb with a 30 day warranty...hmmm...

I would pocket the $30 and put that towards what you (really) want: the Radeon 64.

My .0002% of a $ US.
