Got this from another board and just applied it to my order from last week.
if you buy/bought a maxtor 40GB 7200rpm or maxtor 20gig 5400rpm you can get free PNY 32MB PC100 memory sku 391675. Can even be used if you pm'ed and/or applied other coupons. I think qty's are limited but give it a shot. My free memory will be here on tuesday.

good luck

What's the best price for the 40gb to PM it to?
They're selling it for $180.
Anyone else selling it for cheaper?

bought it last week and pm'ed it to office depot at 149 and then used 40 off 150 at staples, but OD is now back up to 179. Don't know where else you could pm it to right now, maybe someone else knows..

Don't know if I'd want to take up a valuable DIMM slot with a 32MB stick these days, but FREE IS FREE! :)

Hey TigerNY,

Can you give me more detail, like where to go?

I bought 1 of these HD from staples 2 weeks ago, does that still count?

Hey Where can I find out more about this. I bought one of those 40gigs last week. The nearest Staple to me is about 150mis. so we don't get sales ads. Thanks

Stretched, did you buy it online or in the store, if online msg me privately and i'll give you the codes, since no coupon codes are allowed to be posted here...
if you bought it at the store, I don't think it's worth to drive 150 miles for 32MB ..

Hey TigerNY,

I bought 1 at Staples online, and 1 at Staples B&M (both price matched to OD and zip disks too)

Is this offer on the Staples web site? I will check. Think the reps there will hassle me?

It was in todays (sun) paper in the staples ad. Checked the website but couldn't find any references to it there. I bought mine online last week and called today, the guy i got on the phone checked and said, no problem, todays ad doesn't mention anything like "not valid with other coupons or similar" so he checked my order from last week (I pm'ed and used 40off coupon) and he said no problem, we'll send it out tomorrow. So no problem on my end with an online purchase, don't know how they would handle it with in store purchases

If you prefer to shop at a brick & mortar store you can use a coupon good for $20 off of a $100 purchase that was emailed to many people (I sure folks would be happy to forward it to you) to buy a 20 gig Maxtor HD for $80. Since the 32 MB stick of PC100 RAM is worth a good $15, that drives the effective price of the drive down to $65. Not too bad.

I think 32 MB is a reasonable amount to put into a DIMM slot if you are using Windows 98 or its ilk. I haven't ever noticed an increase in performance from putting more than 128 MB into a Win98 machine, so 32 MB may be handy, particular if you have 3+ DIMM slots and already have a 64 MB stick.

I just left our B&M Staples ...Got the deal plus used a $30 off $100 coupon from somewhere on line ...oh , I had to add a 40 cent pack of certs to get it above $100....I understand that not all Staples will honor on-line coupon #'s , but I've never had any trouble .:D
