I would reccommend the LEADTEK WINFAST GEOFRCE2 PRO 32MB DDR $79. Of the cards you mention, it is probably the best deal. It will also carry you for a while longer than the others. I do not know of a game made now that takes advantage of 64MB of RAM, so 32MB should be fine for a while to come.

DDR is faster than SDRAM. My biggest suggestion is to stay FAR away from the GeForce2 MX200. I had one. They suck! It was noticibly slower than my VooDoo3 2000. I would not consider anything less than an MX400, and for what the prices have fallen to, I would look at the GTS, PRO, or hold out for another couple of months for the ULTRA.

Hope this helps!

first off let me say some of the companies you list i have not heard of...

but with a video card purchase(main viewing enjoyment)you need to pick carefully.

a lot of less name brand companies choose components or clock speeds that drasticaly cripple a card

anything mx to me is bottom of the barrel(IMHO)

Inno3D Tornado GeForce2 MX200 64MB SDR $49< mx based cards not good 2 generations old this month
64MB GeForce2 MX400 4x AGP 350 RAMDAC $60< mx based cards not good 2 generations old this month
Inno3D Tornado GeForce2 MX400 64MB SDR $64< mx based cards not good 2 generations old this month

PowerMagic ATI Radeon VE 64 mb SDR $59 oem and" powered by"=trouble+ddr= much better

Eagle GeForce2 Ti 64MB DDR $90 unknown to me should be good (same specs as others in same class?)
Inno3D Tornado GeForce2 Titanium 64MB DDR $82 unknown to me(same specs as others in same class?)

Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X 32MB DDR $49 minimum stardard good company nice card
Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X 32MB DDR $49 minimum standard good company nice card
LEADTEK WINFAST GEOFRCE2 PRO 32MB DDR $79 minimum standard good company nice card

since i only own 1 gforce mx400 (every thing else is ati)then all i will say is dont go with mx cards you
probable will regret this later if you do (Mine came in a retail computer purchase)( i did regret)
dvd quality was good but locked up or stuttered very bad in dvd movies by quality i mean color/vibrance

games (mine are: age of empires, star wars /trek, driving, flying ,war etc )but the mx would stutter the
video or lock up or simply wouldnt play very fustrating.

xtasy and leadtek both very good companies and cards from what ive heard.

ati has three classes of cards" built by " ,"powered by","oem"
of these three only buy the "built by "as these are full speed cards and drivers are not generic therefore
problamatic drivers are solved very quickly

"you get what you pay for " is very true in video cards .

what you plan on using it for has everything to do with what you buy

how long do you expect it to play the newest games is also a major factor-you wouldnt buy a
video card with the assumption that 6 years from now it will still play the newest games this also applies to older generation cards like mx400 this card imho is already outdated to the point that its life is past the: still a good return investment rule

is it still a good return investment rule?

would somebody buy the card from you for near its value or would you end up eating the price when upgrading?
a lot more than you wanted to think about but todays standards require a minimal of quality features and
a good investment

why not get at least a gforce 3 ti 200 as it is one of the few good returns out there plus because it is direct x 8.x compliant has texture hardware and lighting a better graphics processor and it will last as a good investment in the video department although the initial investment is almost double of your highest price the technology in the card will far surpass the (out dated imho) cards you are choosing?

if you are intrested in only your forementioned choices then disregard the extra info.

hope this helps

price watch has ti 200 for 143 minimum.

First of all don't get any MX cards, their 64mb is pretty much the same speed as their 32mb, the 64mb is mainly for marketing. You should go with DDR too, instead of SDR, reason: it's faster?..

I would go with the Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X 32MB DDR for $49, its a good card for under $50 and you can even overclock it easly if you want to, too bad it doesn't have tv-out put, you can check the reviews from many happy buyer here:
http://www.newegg.com/app/CustratingReview.asp?item=14-129-007

If you want a 64mb video card you should look at some other Geforce2Ti besides the cheapest ones on Price, they are only around $10 more, it'll be on page 2 or 3 if you check for Geforce2 TI, I don't think you should get the Eagle GeForce2 Ti 64MB DDR $90 because the main Eagle website doesn't even work, on the other hand the Inno3D one works, if you want to check it out. http://www.inno3d.com/

Unless your playing in high resolutions like 1600x1200, or use 4X FSAA frequently you generally won't see much of a gain from having 64MB of DRAM on a card rather then 32MB.
DDR SDRAM is of course faster then SDR SDRAM in most cases, but one should remember it's not a guarantee of better performance if a card uses DDR SDRAM as many other factors affect the memory controller besides the type of DRAM utilized.

Of the graphics cards you listed the Xtasy 5632 stands out as the best price/performance bargain in my mind. It will solidly outperform the Radeon VE, or GeForce 2 MX200/400.
If you have the extra money though, either the LeadTek model at $79, or the Inno3D at $82 would be preferable.
I'd choose either of them over the Eagle model, as Eagel is pretty much a 'generic' manufacturer and of rather low quality.
LeadTek makes some excellent cards, and they are a reliable manufacturer... but with Inno3D's GF2 Ti being only a few $ extra I'd go for it. Inno3D is decent, and the GF2 Ti will slightly outperform the GF2 Pro, and you get the extra 32MB of DRAM in case you ever have need of it.

Watch out for the Leadtek listed as a Pro. Some of these are nothing more than an MX chip based product. The Visiontek with the true GF2 GTS chip and 32mb DDR ram would be my choice. For $49.00 it has got to be the video card deal of the year.

Yeah, I have the Visiontek GTS-V 32M DDR. It is a great card... Comes clocked at 175 / upper 200's (like 279)

I have mine clocked at 180 / 300 (just a modest effort, I don't really need any faster framerates). I think a full GTS core runs at about 200-225. They have too many cards out now...makes my head hurt trying to sort them all out.

Another vote for the Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X 32MB DDR $49. I have mine@ 210/342, it runs perfect, and also has very good image quality IMHO. It's the best price/performance card I've owned so far.

woohoo the wildcat2, your 3dmark scores would be awesome.

But anyway the geforce gts v would probably be best bang for the buck.
But the inno3d geforce2 ti looks nice also.
