Ive never heard of them or cant speak of the performance but Im taking a shot as it comes from Abes of Maine which Ive gotten great deals from in the past.

So I ordered 1 to give Abes a try as I've never ordered from them and I've heard some negative comments. My order has been in "sent to warehouse" status since I placed it on 5/31. I'm in no hurry for it, but this is a pretty sad performance.

I called them last week and they said they were waiting on a new shipment due in 3 weeks because "they had a lot of errors with the units from the previous shipment". I translate that to they didn't have enough stock and are backordering them.

Finally got a response, they told me they oversold the Nikura 32gb flash drives. So instead of giving me a refund they are sending me a Transcend 32gb flash drive as a replacement, no extra charge....

You should try filling the drive, see if you can still access the files, then copy back, and check for integrity.

looks like fraud chinese drives. Slickdeals did testing and all of these are 8gb and 4 gb drives with software making it read 32 and 16 gb.

Nikura seems to be a new product line name for cheap Chinese products. There is a legitimate Nikura in Japan that makes TVs and Appliances, but not USB Drives.
In addition, the company's business address is the same building as Abe's of Maine

Its labeled as one but fails at anything above 8gb. Hacked Junk Im sorry I posted it but from what I hear Abes is refunding people or sending them transcend drives.

Still Abes should refund everyone who got the drive instead of them having to call in about it.
