320gb seagate barracuda 7200.10 showing as 131gb??

So my new rig started up first push of the power button, but I noticed that the 320gb hd shows up as 131gb in windows. I noticed this during setup of xp when I was setting the partition sizes. During the boot, there is a screen that shows it recognizes the 320gb drive, but xp does not. Could it be the jumper? I did not change it.

Your xp cd does not have SP1 or SP2. So install XP, then install SP2. Problem solved.

I installed sp2 but one partition is 80gb and the other is 50gb. Do I have to do anything else?

you make a 3rd partition that covers the remaining space
