3200 xp vs 64 2800

How does the performance compare? Price points for each are about what I'm looking to spend.

i'm assuming you're talking about the xp 3200+ since theres no such thing as an xt for amd. the athlon 64 is faster then the xp3200+ and has far more potential since 64-bit OS's are coming out soon. luckily, with the recent price drops, you can get the athlon 64 2800+ for cheaper then the xp 3200+.

Sorry for the typo. Had a flashback to my original XT. Ran at 10 mhz, it did.

That's what I figured. It seems like there's little contest for the price.
