I built a simple websurfing/office app computer for my mother using a 3200 venice and a el cheapo biostar MB tonight, and decided to run it through some tests to see how it handles. Well it ran 2 hours of prime at 2.6 at stock vcore! I'm putzing around with it now to see if I can find out how far I can take it, I think i might have to give her the old switcharoo with my winnie 🙂

Priming her now at 2.7@1.42

yeah, that's pretty much a no-brainer. switcheroo! she'll never know the difference, unless she plans on OCing at some point.

did you happen to see the stepping/week on the CPU out of curiousity? sounds like a nice one...

Schweeeeet! That is awesome that it does it at stock vcore. Bump it up to about 1.63 (what my Palermo Sempron is running at) which is still not bad as far as heat is concerned and see how high you can get!
