I'd accept 2900+ maybe. But I must admit, the extra L2 cache on my Barton makes my Seti@home run much faster, regardless of the actual clockspeed/FSB I set the chip at.
hmm, when do you think amd's PR rating started being a little genrous to amd's actual performance? I would say, the barton started it, they should never have dropped the clocks when the barton launched, i mean a 2.2 ghz at 3200+, so amd is saying that there architexture is 1ghz faster then the p4? Not by a long shot, 1.83 ghz for a 2500+? i dont think so. I belive that every PR rating after 2200+( i consider 2200 and lower to be much more accurate then the latter ones) should be dropped by 200 or more points, at most, i would say the 2.2ghz barton would be a 2600+, but even that would be pushing it, AMD really screwed up in the idea to use model numbers.
