i don't have one but i will comment anywhy: the name should be changed to 2800+

hmm, when do you think amd's PR rating started being a little genrous to amd's actual performance? I would say, the barton started it, they should never have dropped the clocks when the barton launched, i mean a 2.2 ghz at 3200+, so amd is saying that there architexture is 1ghz faster then the p4? Not by a long shot, 1.83 ghz for a 2500+? i dont think so. I belive that every PR rating after 2200+( i consider 2200 and lower to be much more accurate then the latter ones) should be dropped by 200 or more points, at most, i would say the 2.2ghz barton would be a 2600+, but even that would be pushing it, AMD really screwed up in the idea to use model numbers.

If you judge by its business-application performance, they're probably going to have to change it to about a 3700+

I'd accept 2900+ maybe. But I must admit, the extra L2 cache on my Barton makes my Seti@home run much faster, regardless of the actual clockspeed/FSB I set the chip at.

2800+(2600+ if they wanted to win most every benchmark accross the board) woulda been nice to compete with HT and the coming 800mhz fsb
i'm thinking they might be afraid opteron might be a ways off so their trying to milk all the model numbers they can out of the .13 athlons now
cause they most likely won't use .09 on the athlon (even with 512kb of cache that would be such a small core heh) unless they try to keep the K7 around awhile like they did with the K6

seti rules tho
just that makes barton look like candy to me
especially with my kt133 and it's limited fsb

Speaking both from experience and benchmarks, my 2400+ (original 2ghz version) outperforms the P4 2.4, and is nearly on the level of a 2.53 ghz.
