the KV32HS500 from bay area good guys (b&m). that's just the price that was on their computers, my friends bought one today. pretty nice tv, and cheaper than anywhere else i've found.

wow good deal... cheapest I found on pricegrabber was 1329... was this a haggled deal, or was it advertised somewhere? I can't find it in the LA times Good Guys ad.

not a haggled deal, or an advertised one... my friends had just gone to good guys and that was the price they had for the tv. but to those hoping to get it even cheaper via pricematching (110%), apparently best buy won't do it (not surprised, they are the highest level of suck when it comes to this kinda stuff). but yeah, just the straightforward price. the stores that confirmed the price were emeryville and van ness (in san francisco), if anyone needs them.

grrr, my uncle said that there IS tax for the stuff. I hope he isn't trying to rip me off...

BTW dolph, how's the quality if you use the TV as a monitor? Have you tried the DVI-input yet? I'm interested in getting one of these TV's as well. Thanks.

that's pretty hot, Best Buy has them for $1,499 + tax.
with the savings you can buy a TV stand and a DVD player.

well, this particular TV looks nice, but I believe there's a newer version of the TV out... which is probably why the price was marked down to 1250. I'm primarily interested in the DVI-input feature... does anyone have experience with it? If so, how's the quality of the picture?

1100$ for a .com return. I get to check it out first, and since it is in oregon store, no tax.

they have another one. Tigard - Washington Circle store.
