Im interested in purchasing a new TV. My bedroom television just died on me today, and its not acceptable to not have a TV in that room. For one, its the main reason my wife can go to bed early so I can have a little peace and quiet in the family room before I call it a night!

Considering the time of year, and the abrupt nature, there is a budget. Its not a hardcore budget but Id like to get something that is a good deal, and prob the absolute max I can swing is about $800. Id prefer to get away with as minimal $$$ as possible since TBH my wife says she cant even see the difference between HD (1080i Samsung 52" plasma) and regular, which I find mind boggling.

Couldnt find anything special or recent in the Hotdeals section.

Hows this TV? For 37" I really dont need anything more than 720p but its on sale, and I am a Samsung-fanatic with displays.

Good deal good TV? Keep looking?

Any specific suggestions and why its a good TV much appreciated.

Thanks!

I just picked up a 42" tv for the living room, which replaced the 32" that was there. I'm selling the 32" to a friend but wanted to see how it would look in the bedroom. To be honest, it looks too big for my liking and I think I'd prefer a 26".
