32 mb cache is better than 16 right

Look at this this way...
Did going from 8MB cache to 16 increase the performance of the 74GB Raptor?
If it didn't help the 10k rpm Raptor much, doubling the cache on a 7200rpm drive won't help much (all else being equal).

If you're playing with the idea of a dinky 500GB HD, save your $$ and buy the 16MB version.
$119 for the 500GB/32MB is too high anyway.

Don't think of it as a cache difference. Find benchmarks of the respective hard drives and find which one appeals to you more (performance, noise, and heat-wise).

I was going to order the exact same thing but I noticed the benchies didn't make any difference and I had second thoughts. But since the prices seem to be the same, I went ahead and ordered a couple:)
