32" LED as Monitor?

Of course the GTX 570 will be fine. Since currently you are running at 1920x1200 you will actually be lowering your resolution by going to 1080p, so if anything games will run better (if only slightly). My only problem with using a TV as a monitor is they are not designed to be viewed closely like a "real" monitor so you may need to place the screen further away in order for the pixel density to look right.

I have a None LED LG 1080p and also use my 40" Samsung as HTPC and gaming from time to time.

In general TVs do a good job, but don't expect color reproduction, crispness, quality of a monitor. They are in a different ballpark.
