32" HDTV OR (2) x 24" Viewsonic Monitors?

Will be desktop PC powered.

Both have native resolution of 1920x1080, 100,000 contrast ratio. I assume that the 32" HDTV LG monitor has an HD tuner?

Will be viewing multiple (3-4) letter sized pages for business.

Read that one needs a 4 foot viewing distance from the 32" monitor?. If this is true then I cannot buy the 32" HDTV as I would need to sit 4 feet away.

Given all of this, which would be more suitable for my application?

Also, would a 512MB GeForce 8400 video card be adequate to power the LG 32" HDTV?

Thank you Consummate Professionals!

Monitor wins on quality EVERY time.

I have a 40" Samsung LCD and 32" LCD 1080p and although they aren't bad....pixels are bigger.

In general even my 25" IINC looks MUCH better than both. Clearer, better quality, more crisp and all kinds of other stuff.

For HTPC is one thing, for full time PC duties I NEVER recommend a TV. Monitor will always be better.

In short, 2x24" monitors.

TV's (LCD/LED/Plasma/whatever) cap out at 1080p, plain and simple. That's a limitation I could never live with for a computer.
