If you're only focused on these drives based on receiving a rebate to cut the final cost, you'd better read up on them at the NCIX forums.

I would probably pass unless you want a "toy" to play around with. 32GB is pretty small and those drives use the Indilinx Amigos controller (IIRC) that simply is not that fast.

It would probably be more of a burden to you then good.

If you want a fast drive that's overall worth the money get one of these:

Corsair Force 60GB

EDIT: Over all though, I would wait. We are still seeing capacity go up and price go down. If you are only willing to make a $50 upgrade wait another year or so until SSD settle in a price range and capacity which suits you.
