32 gb flash stick

just seena a 32 GB flash stick and there are multiple GB ipods and other gadgets out there. Why are mobo only 4-8GB of memory? AM i missing something, i just don't get it why PC's lack of RAM, and what's the difference between 32 and 64 bit O/S's. WHat the F**k??

one's got nothing to do with the other. flash isn't in the same league as RAM

Flash USB memory isn't even in the same league as SSDs.

32-bit and 64-bit OSes change the amount of addressing space the OS has to work with, amongst other things.

you are missing the fact that "memory" is a very VERY general term. There are many completely different technologies used in completely different ways for completely different purposes.
RAM
Flash
SSD
HDD
NVRAM
ROM
CMOS
L1 Cache
L2 Cache
L3 Cache
Floppy
Jazz/Zip
Magneto-optical
Hybrid HDD
Optical
Holographic Media

And probably a few I have missed. Those are all "memory" in that they store 0 and 1 values for data. But they are COMPLETELY different in construction, capability, and purpose.
