I noticed 2 32" display panels on sale for a G note. I am interested in getting one. Please dont comment if you seen it at the store and like it. I personally want to hear from those who own one and what they think of them. Please also list the brand and model.

Thankyou.

I've got a 32" syntax olevia which I use as my primary tv and occassionaly use as a computer display. The drawback of this setup is the resolutions. I run it at 1280x720 which the tv upscales to it's native 1366x768. The picture is beatiful, I can surf the web from my couch (7' from tv to the couch), and gaming is good, especially games which support widescreen formats.

I don't use it for anything serious though, the vertical resolution (720) is just too small for me to use as a primary monitor.

So, I guess it depends on your usage. If you want to use it primarily as a workstation monitor, I'd have to recommend against it (The Dell 2405 is the same price, go for that instead.) If you want a mix use tv/computer display for gaming, light web surfing, movies, pictures etc go for it.

I love it, and will never go back to small monitors. I am completely immersed in HD goodnes. Right now I'm typing this and watching PIP on HD Discovery Channel. Gaming is beautiful. I suggest a high powered graphics card because native resolution on mine is 1366x768 (720p scaled). So I use 8xAASS (supersampling) and 16xAF forced in the driver. The only con for me is having to customize most games resolutions to run widescreen. But once they're all done it play, play, play. Hope this helps you decide. :)

DaveBC who's display are you using?

I am leaning toward the viewsonic because they make monitors more than consumer tv's.
