I just bought a GF4 TI 4200 8x with 128MB (Asylum) and have noticed that I get all kinds of "incorrect" dots on my desktop. For example, my background is the standard blue color but I see lots of white spots all over the desktop. This also scrabbles some of the text as well. This all happens when I select any color setting except 32bit. When I select 32bit everything is fine. what could be the problem? I tried out Unreal 2 and also am able to see the weird dots when I select 16 bit colors but not at 32bit.

I am not overclocking the card or the CPU. I don't know if this matters but I am using Directx 9a.

I got a Fix Use 32 go into the advanced tab and force 32 bit for directx and opengl. This should fix the problem for most games. Ok it's not the best fix but it may help.
