Eh, I can't see this being more expensive than the X34 Predator. $1300 (same as X34) or lower. Probably more like $1K.

Do you know of a 4K monitor that goes above 60 hz... what were you expecting?

I'm wishing for one that does, that's all. (although, I don't thing the current interface standards support it yet?). Some major strides this year in monitor tech so hopefully a 4k 80+ Hz monitor isn't in the too distant future.

Does the 60hz impact trying to play games at more than 60FPS?

A 60Hz monitor is only capable of displaying 60FPS a second. Uncapping your framerate may actually cause more harm than good by introducing tearing due to frames rendering faster than a 60Hz monitor can display them. Its a good idea to cap games at 60FPS on a 60Hz panel.

Was browsing newegg via mobile the other day and found this. Looks like $1300

Meh. I just paid much less for my 49" Wasabi Mango 4K w/Freesync which I just setup and looks amazing. If you have the desk space I wouldn't bother with these overpriced 32" 4K monitors.

32" 4K: 137.681 ppi
49" 4K: 89.914 ppi

49" way too big for desk usage. IMO, 32" 4K is perfect for high res desktop usage. Not to mention response and lag times will likely be superior to any of the large format korean panels.

I agree though, $1300 is waaaay too much for those specs. Hopefully G-Sync prices start to come down or Nvidia just does away with it all together and adopts Freesync.

I agree that the value of a TV is high compared to monitors, but they are too big IMO. I don't know if being smaller warrants the higher price or not, but 32" 4K is a good size IMO. I'd like to be at that size for my next monitor, but it needs to have the following:

32"
OLED
120HZ
HD capable @ 60hz or better

I picked one of these up if anyone has any questions, overall I'm extremely happy with it, the panel is really nice and G-sync makes gaming at 40-50fps a lot smoother. Sure it would be nice if it was higher than 60Hz but to be honest I didn't notice a huge difference going from 144Hz down to 60, maybe my eyes just aren't that great anymore.

You bought this thing already? Amazing. Congrats. How is the uniformity across the large screen size in terms of backlight brightness being even? You seem to be very happy with it so that's good.

Haha yeah I suppose I could have waited for a sale but I wanted to try it out before the return window is up on the monitor I have right now. They still have it in stock at newegg, I guess they got it in a couple weeks earlier than expected.

Uniformity seems quite good to me for a screen this big, with a black screen up I don't see much clouding really and the IPS glow is very faint on mine, if I have the light in my computer room on I can't even see it and it's not very visible with the lights off. As for backlight bleeding that is non existent on mine, there is just a very low amount of glow.

The AG coating on the monitor is much better than the other gaming monitors I've tried, it's a lighter coating than the 27" IPS and TN monitors, so whites and grays don't look all grainy on here.

I didn't do any specific monitor tests other than checking out how bad the glow/backlight bleed is and checking for dead pixels. After that I was too busy playing games and being blown away by how great they look on there.

If there's anything I can say it's that I've tried quite a few monitors recently trying to find something good and I'm finally really happy with this one, it has the panel quality I'd expect from something this expensive.

That's awesome. I might go check one out in person somewhere. There is a newegg will call center near me and they usually have new stuff like this showcased. Maybe I'll take a look just for fun.
