#301 In The Step-Up Queue. Anyone Know How Long This Will Take?

So I have a couple 7800GT's in SLI right now. Since I only got them 2 months ago I figured I might as well upgrade to Superclocked 7900GT's while the gettin is good. It should only cost me 30 bucks a card plus shipping.

I went to eVGA's site, signed up for the step-up and it says that I am #301 in the queue. However, it gave me no indication of how long I can expect to wait besides saying that it may take "several weeks" to process. Does anyone on here know how long I can expect to wait until they have them available? This is killing me.

Thanks for any info on this.

Well I've been at #17 for a couple of days now for a 7900GT CO . . . according to the other thread, eVGA should begin releasing these requests before the end of next week . . .

Just like 1Dark1Sharigan1 said, the eVGA folks have claimed that the 7900GT-series orders will be filled by the end of next week. We'll see if they can keep that promise.

Out of curiosity, did you apply for Step Up for both cards? Normally, I'd assume that you had, but you only listed one queue number. Just wanted to make sure you knew that you had to go through the process for each card separately.

Yup, they "said" end of next week on their forums, now lets see if they deliver.
I want to get my 7900's soon so I can hook up my water cooling setup. (waiting for evga)

I applied for step up for each card serperatly since I really don't see an option for SLI step up's. Hopefully I should be able to send them in one box.

With an SLI set what you need to do is step them up seperately. Keep one card until you receive your step-up, and then send it in. The whole process takes about two weeks per card because they don't send the step-up card until they receive your old one and it's processed... You really want to be out a video card for two weeks?

I got an older 9800XT machine. I guess I'll use that.

I've been at #18 for a N563 for a week now. Since I didn't have a PCI-E card to fill in with while Stepping-Up, I bought another one from Newegg and got it y'day, so all I'm waiting for is a chance to trade-up and SLI.

I went from #300 to #57 today so hopefully it will be Monday or Tuesday since I doubt the process will continue over the weekend.
