Personally i love the styling of the 300zx over the 3000gt. But let me know what you think especially those of you with experience. You what's good.... what's bad... whatever.

300ZX... the only 3000GT worth owning is the VR-4 and even then those are very heavy and theres not that many running around. The SL and the base model are FWD... and quite underpowered for their weight.

The 3000gt and 300zx have nearly identical power/weight ratios.

I thought 1984 was the anniversary edition, or was that just the first year the 300zx came out...

3000GT VR-4: ~3803/320

300ZX: ~3481/300

almost the same but im talking about feel of the car... you can definitely feel 250lbs... :( the 3000GT had all these techno gadgets on there... like adjustable exhaust tone and automatic wipers of some sort...

I was referring to the base versions, and based on your post it would seem that you were too.

I was talking about the top models... TT and VR-4

The base models are indeed similar:

3000GT: ~3252/222

300ZX : ~3220/220

...but the 3000GT is FWD...
