300w PSU enough to power an A64 & PCIE Radeon X800XL?

I am looking to build the quietest system possible, and so I came across the SeaSonic "Super Tornado" 300w, which is highly recommended by SilentPCreview.com

My biggest issue would be if it offers enough juice for this system? Its supposed to be one of the most efficient PSU's on the market, so its certainly high quality stuff. But still, I might like a bit of headroom for OCing (not sure on this yet), but I would like to know is 300w is enough to power the PCI-E version of the Radeon X800 XL?

I could always go up to the 350w or 400w versions, but they are a bit more expensive, and I don't want to have to buy anything more than I really need.

There will only be 1 HDD and 1 Optical drive in this system, and only a A64 3000+.

Really, you'll be fine. It's got 18A on the +12V rail, which would easily power a high-end P4EE and a 6800U.

If you want to do heavy-duty overclocking (esp. involving upping voltages), you might want to invest in a beefier PSU. But for any single-processor, single-video system, 300-350W is more than enough, as long as the PSU has a decent +12V rail and can actually deliver the power it says it can.

I'm running a Athlon 64 3000+ and a 6600 GT on a 300W PSU and same thing 1 HDD and 1 Optical. I even had a chance to oc it to a 2.0 GHz.

I agree you will be fine. The +12v amps are more really important than the watts. 18A is enough.

300W is plenty for most systems but the available power has to be distributed across the rails in the way that best suits your PC.

Thanks guys. This is pretty much what I thought in the first place, but I wanted to make double sure :)
