So my Antec TruePower 300 has been running my Tbird+GF2 rig admirably, but now that I'm running an ATI9800Pro and am considering upgrading to an A64 3200, what kind of PSU should I be looking for? I'm not going to overclock, so the idea of getting some 500W beast sounds ridiculous. Actually, even 400W sounds like total overkill to me.
What happened in the last 2-3 years that power consumption has gotten so high?
