snow storm + ice storm did the damage. Haven't had much snow in columbus for a few years now. I think we're a level 2 snow emergency :0, oh my! my mom is having some people stay over tonight, i hope they like street fighter 2 b/c that's all i've been doing besides reading.

snow on monday and now its all gone.

i think the world is coming to an end, i'm sure there was a movie about fluctuating temperatures lead to a meteor or godzillas attacking.

Yeah, I spent a few hours this morning gathering up large branches that had fallen overnight. It's fun dragging a 30-40 ft branch behind you across the ice-crusted snow. Oh the joys of visiting my parents in Grove City, OH with their 1.5 acres with full grown trees.... I'm learning my lesson. SBC trucks have been going around but I'm lucky enough to be 1 mile from a power substation so power outages are rare.

I thought they were predicting more freezing rain overnight too. Good luck trying to get into a car that's been parked outside. I'll take some pictures tomorrow morning for posterity.

Your trees suck gravity. They were small and weak and caved in at the first sign of challenge.

Much like most of the virgins here on Anandtech.

(CNN) -- Utility crews scrambled Saturday to restore power to more than 3 million people in upstate New York, northern New England and parts of Canada after a nasty ice storm caused what Maine Gov. Angus King called "the worst power outage we've ever had."
