5400 drives are in general quieter then the 7200.
This would be nice for a media pc.

You don't need a fast hard drive to stream files over a wireless network. Pretty much any hard drive from the last 6+ years will exceed true data througput on such a network, unless there are lots of users accessing the disc at the same time and causing lots of disc seeks.
